Description

Rose Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage situated on the north-west side of Brandsby Street in Crayke. The building is constructed of reddish-brown local brick, with a whitewashed front and a rendered north gable. It has a swept pantile roof with end chimneys. The cottage is one and a half storeys in height, with two bays. It features Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars set within plain wood architraves. A four-panel door is located within an architrave. A stepped band runs above the windows and the eaves are dentilled.
