Description
Numbers 1 and 2 Priest Cottages are two cottages that were originally one dwelling, built in the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed from red-brown local brick and feature a pantile roof with ashlar coping and kneelers, along with end and ridge stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of four bays. The windows are Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars set in flush wood architraves, which have painted lintels and cills. The entrances at each end date from the 19th century and have 4-panel doors that are flanked by pilasters and brackets, supporting a flat hood. The eaves cornice is stepped and dentilled.
