Description
The farm buildings located approximately 40 metres north of Settrington Grange Farmhouse date back to around 1795. They consist of cart and implement sheds with lofts above, constructed from dressed limestone featuring tooled limestone quoins and dressings, topped with slate roofs. The buildings are arranged in two parallel two-storey ranges. The range on the right includes a plank loft door in the gable end, which is accessed by a flight of steps. It also features two elliptical cart arches made of voussoirs with an impost band on the right return front, along with two 2-light partly-glazed windows positioned above. The left range mirrors this design, having two similar cart arches on the gable end with a lifting door above, flanked by 2-light window openings. Both ranges have parallel pitched roofs.
