Description

Smithy Farmhouse and the adjoining former Smithy date from the 18th to early 19th century. The farmhouse is rendered with cogged brick eaves, while the smithy is built of reddish-brown brick with dentilled eaves. Both buildings have pantile roofs. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance is located to the left of the centre and features a door from around 1930. There is a late 20th-century window to the right of the entrance, and the remaining windows are 16-pane sashes set in flush cases with cills. The smithy is a single storey with a carriage entrance to the left, a stable door with a flat brick arch in the centre, and two horseshoe-shaped windows to the right, each with round brick arches.
