Description

The property at 1 and 1A Victoria Road comprises two houses, originally a single dwelling built in the early 19th century, with later 20th-century alterations and subdivision. The front elevation is of coursed dressed stone, while the sides and rear are of coursed rubble stone, with brick end stacks rising to a pantile roof. The building has a two-storey, three-window facade. Steps lead to a six-panel door with an overlight, originally at the centre left, and a similar door has been inserted at the centre right. Windows throughout are 16-pane sashes with painted stone sills; those on the ground floor have concrete lintels.
