Description
No. 11 Mount Road is a house built in the early 19th century. The front and sides are made of pink and cream mottled brick in an English garden-wall bond, accented with orange-red brick dressings. It features a stepped eaves course at the front, while the rear is constructed from rubble stone. The roof is covered with pantiles and has brick stacks at the left end and right rear.
The house has a central entry plan and is two stories tall with a three-window front. It includes a six-panel door located beneath a tall, round-headed staircase window that contains a small-pane sash. To the left of the door, there is a three-light replacement window with glazing bars. The other windows are tripartite, featuring central sashes, with each light containing eight panes. All windows have painted stone sills and are topped with quoined brick arches; the staircase window has a round arch, while the others have cambered arches.
On the right side of the house, there is a tripartite window on the ground floor with a 12-pane centre sash set in a quoined cambered arch. A similar window on the first floor has been blocked. At the rear, there is a small fixed light window beneath a long timber lintel on the ground floor, located to the right of a later inserted window. On the first floor, there are two 12-pane sliding sashes beneath a timber lintel.
