Description
This is a house located at 68 Old Maltongate, built in the mid-19th century. It features pink and cream mottled brick in an English garden-wall bond at the front, while the left side and left stack have been rebuilt in red brick with orange brick dressings. The roof is covered with pantiles. The house is two stories high with an attic and has a one-window front. To the right of the small-pane bow window, there is a plain door with an overlight. On the first floor, there is a tripartite sash window with a 12-pane center light. The attic includes a raking dormer with a tripartite sash window that has an unequal 9-pane center light. The door and first-floor window openings are adorned with cambered arches made of quoined brick.
