Description

The Barracks Bank Milepost is a milepost from the late 19th century. It features the inscription "RICHMOND 3 MILES" on the left side with an arrow pointing left, and "DARLINGTON 9 MILES" on the right side. Additionally, it has "RICHMOND H D" inscribed on the top. This milepost dates from after the Highways Act of 1888.
