Description
Park View Cottages are four cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from pale brown local brick and feature a pantile roof with large ridge chimneys. The gables have stone coping and brick kneelers, with the south-west corner being curved and stepping up at the eaves level to support the kneeler. The cottages are two storeys high and have four first-floor windows facing the main street. There are three entrances on the street front, each with panelled doors and oblong fanlights set in architraves. Additionally, there is another entrance on the south gable, which has three bays, although all but two of the windows have been bricked up. The cottages have 16-pane sash windows in flush wood architraves with painted sills throughout, and all openings feature gauged red brick cambered arches.
