Description
Hall View Cottages are two cottages, likely built in the 18th century, with some rebuilding from the 19th century. They are constructed from reddish and pinkish-brown local brick, featuring a plinth and stepped, dentilled eaves. The roof is made of pantiles with a raised verge on the left side, and there are chimneys at both ends and on the ridge. The cottages are two storeys tall, with each cottage having one window on the first floor and one blocked opening above the door of the right cottage. They have panelled doors and 16-pane sash windows set in flush wood architraves. The door openings are segmental-arched, although the arch above the right door has been rebuilt as a round arch. The cottages are included in the listing partly for their group value.
