Description
The Half Moon Inn is likely a 17th-century public house with a 20th-century extension to the rear. It is built of whitewashed brick and features a steeply-pitched swept pantile roof with raised, rendered verges to the north gable, and rebuilt stacks at the end and ridge. The building is two storeys high. The first floor has three Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, a bow window with glazing bars and a modillion cornice is located to the right. A simple panelled door is set within a 20th-century hood. There are two segmental arched Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars, which are of a low and wide proportion. Inside, a stout, longitudinal chamfered ceiling beam is visible.
