Description
Over House Farmhouse is a house dating from 1764 and earlier. It is constructed of thin coursed rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It features large recessed square mullion windows, which now have two lights to the left of the door and one to the right, although some mullions are missing. There is a plain doorway located in a later enclosed porch. Above the doorway, there is a datestone that is ornamentally inscribed with the initials H J E and the year 1764.
The farmhouse has two chimneys. At the rear, there are five double chamfered stone mullion windows, some of which have been enlarged and are missing their mullions, except for one window that retains two lights. The interior has not been inspected.
