Description
Lower Windmill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, which has been altered over time. It is constructed of slobbered rubble and features a stone slate roof with two chimneys. On the ground floor, there are two double chamfered stone mullion windows, one with three lights and the other with four lights, the latter having a drip moulding. Above these, there are four modern casement windows that are taller than they are wide, each with chamfered surrounds, one of which still retains the head of a mullion. The plain doorway is roughly central, while another doorway with a deep lintel is blocked on the right-hand side. An attached barn is not included in this listing.
