Description

Norwood Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, now a house, likely dating from the late 17th century with some alterations. The building is rendered and features a stone slate roof that is hipped towards the lane. The main front has two storeys and three bays. The windows are double chamfered stone mullioned, with hoodmoulds on the ground floor, where one window has five lights. The upper windows consist of three, two, and three lights. The return wall facing the lane has two similar ground floor windows (which have been altered with square mullions), while the upper windows have been modernised. The building has three chimneys. There is a long range extending back along the lane that has been modernised and is not included in the listing.
