Description

This is a garden summerhouse, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is situated 100 metres west of Carr Head Hall. The summerhouse is a substantial square building constructed of coursed rubble, with a hipped roof covered in stone slates. It features squared quoins and rusticated voussoirs framing a round-headed doorway and lunette windows. A crocketed finial sits at the apex of the roof.
