This boundary stone, located approximately 30 meters south of Elslack Bridge, is likely from the 19th century. It is a stone slab set on its edge along the road. The north side of the stone is marked with "Thornton B," while the south side features "Elslack B," with the "B" possibly being an alternative from "P."
