Description
The boundary stone located on the south side of Inghey Bridge dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of painted sandstone and features two round arches at the top, separated by a scored vertical line. The stone stands approximately 45 centimeters tall. On the left side, it is inscribed with "E S STIRTON WITH THORLBY," and on the right side, it reads "H D BROUGHTON." This boundary stone was previously listed under the parishes of Stirton with Thorlby and Broughton but was removed from the list on October 3, 2018.
