Description
East Lodge to Broughton Hall is a lodge built in 1839 by George Webster. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a slate roof. The building is a single-storey cruciform shape with pediments on all gables. The gable facing the drive features an Ionic distyle in antis order, while the other corners have panelled pilaster strips. Most windows have shouldered architraves and are sash windows with all glazing bars. There are coupled round-headed windows on each side of the wing with the portico. The lodge has a central chimney with two decorated flues.
