Description
The Farmhouse is a former farmhouse and cottage that is now disused. It dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of pinkish-brown local brick with a rendered front. The building features stepped and dentilled eaves, and tumbled-in brickwork on the gable. It has a high-pitched swept pantile roof with stacks at the ends and off-centre. The raised brick verges add to its character. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. There are three late 19th-century canted bays with bracketed cornices and sash windows. The entrance includes one half-glazed door and one four-panel door, both with oblong fanlights. The first floor has 19th-century sash windows set in flush wood architraves.
