Description
Forest Hall Farmhouse is a former farmhouse and cottage, now functioning as a farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of narrow reddish-brown local brick and features a first-floor band. The roof is covered with pantiles, and it has rendered raised verges and kneelers, along with a rendered off-centre ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with the house previously having two bays and a central entrance, while the cottage was a single bay with a left-hand entrance. The farmhouse has half-glazed 20th-century doors and segmental-arched 19th-century sash windows, with Yorkshire sashes located at the rear. There is also a glass extension attached to the front of the building.
