Description

R S Wilson and Sons Antiques is a corner block of cottages with shop fronts located on the east side of High Street, dating back to the 13th century. The building is constructed of brick and rendered, featuring a hip-ended Welsh slate roof, with cement tiles on the rear wing. The High Street front has a total of three windows on the first floor, including one late 19th century sash window and two modern casements. An elaborate 20th century corner entrance is adorned with wooden pilasters, a hood, and half-glazed double doors, accompanied by a modern bow window to the left. To the right, there is a modern glazed door flanked by 19th century canted bays that have bracketed cornices and sash windows.

On the Market Square front, the building displays five irregular bays. There are two panelled doors with oblong fanlights, a garage door to the left, and two sash windows with glazing bars, along with a small modern window on the ground floor. The first floor features three sashes with glazing bars set in flush wood architraves, plus two smaller later 19th century sashes. The building is included partly for its group value.
