Description

This is a late 18th-century house and business premises located in Boroughbridge, situated on the north side of St James Square. The building is constructed of brown brick with dentilled eaves and a first-floor band. It has a renewed pantile roof with stone coping and end chimneys. The façade is three bays wide, with a centrally placed entrance featuring a modern panelled door and an oblong fanlight. Late 19th-century sash windows are set within flush wood architraves and cills, and each opening has a stucco head and key. A railed area sits at the front, and the property occupies an important position within the cobbled square.
