Description

The pavilion, located approximately 80 metres to the south-west of Hornby Grange, dates from around 1767 and is built of red brick with a graduated concrete tile roof. It is a single-storey structure with a square plan and features a single bay. Each side of the pavilion has a large semicircular headed blind arch, which is adorned with brick voussoirs and impost bands. The south side includes a board stable door topped by a 6-pane overlight, all set beneath a flat brick arch. The building also has a dentilled eaves band and a pyramidal roof with a finial. This pavilion is included in the listing for its group value with Hornby Grange.
