Description

The garden pavilion, located 40 metres south of No. 42 (Brook House), dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red and blue brick in header bond and features a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The pavilion has a semi-circular plan that faces south, with a semi-circular arch and a straight parapet topped with moulded stone coping. There is a dentilled cornice along the back and sides. Inside, the pavilion is plastered and has a spheroid ceiling. It retains original benches that have turned legs, slatted seats, and stretchers with rounded upper surfaces, all designed to match the curvature of the structure.
