Farmhouse and outbuilding. C17, altered 1743. Coursed gritstone rubble, stone slate and pantile roofs. 2 storeys with attic, 3 first-floor windows. Left of centre: board door in chamfered stone surround with heavy lintel ' A ' inscribed I M. 3-light side-sliding sashes with glazing bars throughout, 1743 those on ground floor with chamfered stone sills and re-used stone surrounds. No sills to first-floor windows. Shaped kneelers, gritstone gable coping; large stack above door, and an external stack against right gable. Interior: large fireplace with mantel beam to central room. 4 trusses in roof each having a pair of heavy principals with a collar halved into them. Attached outbuilding has 2 stable doors on south side, and an external stair to door in gable end.
