Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with later alterations. It is built from coursed rubble stone and features a timber doorcase, a pantile roof, and brick stacks. The building has a lobby-entry plan and is two stories high with a three-window front. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed, four-panel door set within a plain doorcase topped by a cornice hood. To the right of the door are two three-light chamfered mullioned windows with double-chamfered surrounds and large-pane lights. To the left are two six-pane sash windows with grooved sills, and a similar window is found on the first floor. The ground-floor left windows have a flat arch with an incised keystone. The gables are coped with plain kneelers. The center ridge stack has been partly rebuilt, and there are end stacks, with the left one featuring weathered offsets. On the left side of the building, a timber surround of a blocked window is visible near the stack. The attached front railings are made of oval-section reeded material with fleur-de-lys tips and have turned column-on-vase standards.
