Description

ACASTER SELBY ACASTER LANE SE 54 SE (north side) 5/5 Barn to College Farm GV II Barn. Probably early C19 with later additions and alterations. Pinkish- brown brick with ashlar dressings and pantile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central round-arched stable entrance with ashlar imposts. Cement mullion windows to either side with multi-paned casements. To first floor one segmental-arched opening. Dentil eaves band. Moulded ashlar kneelers and coping. Partly-blocked, elliptical-arched opening and remains of pigeon openings to right gable. Included for group value.
