Description

College Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from pinkish-brown brick, featuring red rubbed brick dressings and a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a central pedimented breakforward. The off-centre entrances consist of 20th-century part-glazed doors with overlights. The central bay has a 20-pane tripartite sash window on the ground floor and a 20-pane tripartite Yorkshire sash window on the first floor, while the other openings have either 12-pane sashes or casement windows. All window openings are set under flat arches made of red rubbed brick. The farmhouse also has a dentil eaves band and features side and ridge stacks.
