Description

Sledmere Grange is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. It features pinkish-red brickwork, which is rendered on the front and side, and has a Welsh slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan with later infill and stands two storeys high with three bays. It includes quoins at the corners and has a central entrance consisting of a six-panel door with an overlight, set beneath a channelled wedge lintel. The windows are 16-pane sashes, each with ashlar sills and channelled wedge lintels. The roof is hipped, and there are stacks on the sides.
