Description
This is a barn, which was later used as stables, located approximately 20 yards north of College Farmhouse. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations. The structure is timber framed with brick infill and a brick plinth, topped with a plain tile roof. It is a one-storey building with three framed bays, aligned north-south and facing east. The design features three square panels at the eaves and straight tension braces. The central entrance has full height boarded barn doors, with additional doors inserted to the left and right.
Inside, there is an inserted loft floor supported by chamfered cross-beams. College Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
