Description

Bobbington Hall is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early 17th century and has undergone alterations and additions in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of red brick in English bond and features plain tile roofs with crow-stepped gables. There are brick external lateral stacks with lozenge section shafts. The main structure is aligned east-west and faces south, with a cross-wing to the east and a rear wing to the west, both aligned north-south. There are 19th-century extensions at the north-west angle.

The south front of the building has two storeys and an attic, with about three bays. The slightly projecting gabled cross-wing is on the right, while the hall range is on the left. There is a two-storey porch facing towards the left, situated in the angle between the two sections. The windows feature chamfered mullions with two, three, and five lights, and have brick dripstones. The mullions and frames are rendered to imitate ashlar. There is a single-light ground floor loop window in the porch and large 19th-century ground floor casements.

To the left, there is a single-storey wing from the 17th century with two casements and an exposed timber roof truss on the left-hand gable. The porch has a segmental-headed door on its left-hand return. A large stack is located on the right-hand return of the cross-wing, accompanied by an attached garderobe turret. The rear and sides of the building feature several mullioned windows. The interior has been modernised.
