Description
Bobbington House is a farmhouse now used as a house, dated 1695. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with raised verges, a brick ridge stack, and an integral end stack. The building originally had a baffle-entry plan and the main range is aligned north-east to south-west, facing north-west, with three parallel rear wings aligned north-west to south-east. The house has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with storey bands that continue around the ends; the lower band is cyma recta moulded. There are four windows with 20th-century casements; the upper windows are in their original openings, while the ground floor windows have 18th-century segmental arches, all retaining original gauged brick heads. There is a blocked door to the left of the centre. A central datestone is inscribed with a "P" and below it, a brick is inscribed "W F," both dated 1695. Additionally, there is a central insurance plate depicting Britannia and inscribed "COUNTY."
