Description

Grove Farmhouse, now a private house, dates from the mid to late 17th century and has undergone 20th-century alterations. The farmhouse is constructed of painted rendered walls, with a graduated greenslate roof and a rendered chimney stack. It is two storeys high, originally consisting of four bays, with a later two-bay stable conversion to the right side under a common roof. A rear extension has also been added. The front features a plank door set within painted stone surrounds. The ground floor has two-light stone mullioned windows, each with a hoodmould. Similar upper-floor windows are present but the mullions have been removed. To the right are three-light and two-light windows in a similar style.
