Description
Cross Bank and Greystones are two houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a slate roof, with the west gable end being slate hung. The houses have a central entrance plan and are characterized by quoins. The north elevation is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows have plain surrounds and are sashed with glazing bars. The entrance features a plain surround with a consoled pediment, an overlight, and a four-panel door. There is a cross-axial stack and a gable-end stack. The east return includes an entrance with a cornice, an overlight, and a four-panel door, along with a 20th-century canopy. The rear side has sashed windows with single glazing bars only on the east side, two single-storey gabled wings, and a 20th-century lean-to sun lounge to the east.
