Description

Nos. 3-13 on Park Road in Milnthorpe is a terrace of houses and shops, likely built mostly in the early 19th century with some later alterations. The buildings feature stone rubble walls and graduated greenslate roofs, with four chimneys. They are two storeys high and have ten irregular windows, primarily sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes 19th-century panelled doors and windows with fixed glazing bars, except for No. 3, which has a 20th-century shop front and door, No. 5A with an inserted 20th-century door, and No. 11 featuring a 20th-century casement window. There is a carriage arch with roughly-cut voussoirs and impost blocks located between Nos. 9 and 11. The terrace is listed for its group value.
