Description
This is a house from the 18th century with later alterations, located adjoining the east end of Cross View Cottage in Alston Moor's Market Place. The building is constructed of wet-dashed rubble and features a graduated stone-flagged roof with a stone chimney at the east end. It has two bays and stands three storeys tall, with attics. On the left side, there is a panelled door, while to the right, a two-storey canted bay window under a flat roof has narrow sashes without glazing bars on the sides and a single sash on each floor at the front. The first-floor door on the left is now blocked, and there is a single sash window on the second floor, along with a small fixed attic window.
