Description

Cross View Cottage is an 18th-century house that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of wet-dashed rubble and features a graduated stone-flagged roof with stone chimneys. The cottage has a gabled dormer that includes an apex finial and decorative barge-boards. It is three bays wide and has three storeys with attics. The central section projects with a flat roof and contains sash windows. To the left of this bay is a panelled door, while to the right, there are steps leading up to a first-floor entry that is accessed through a glazed porch. Each floor has a single sash window that is not aligned, and there is a dormer window located below the eaves.
