Description
The Cottage is an 18th-century house that has undergone later alterations and is situated adjacent to Rose Cottage. It features coursed, squared rubble walls topped with a double-span graduated slate roof and brick chimneys at each end. The two-storey, two-bay front has two canted bay windows on the ground floor and two sash windows with glazing bars in stone surrounds on the upper floor. The bay windows were rebuilt in the late 20th century to imitate their original appearance. There is a plank door located on the inner face of the left-hand bay. The property to the south, which is at right angles to The Cottage, is not included in this listing.
