Description
The forecourt walls, piers, central gate, and railings to the Methodist Chapel in Long Marton are constructed from sandstone blocks, forming a low front wall with chamfered coping. The return walls are higher and feature segmental coping without railings. The corner piers are square in section and topped with domical features. The original cast-iron railings have pointed standards. The central gate, which includes an overthrow, and the balustrade to the steps are 20th-century additions.
