Description
Red House is a house built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features diagonally-dressed, margined ashlar stone with rusticated quoins. The roof is made of graduated slate and has brick chimneys at each end. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays. It has a central panelled door set within a doorcase that has a broken pediment, and the windows are sashes with glazing bars. There is a lean-to extension made of coursed, squared rubble at the north end.
