Description
Ivy Cottage, originally two dwellings, dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with quoins. The roof is slate, continuing over the adjacent house, with stone coping, kneelers, and a chimney to the north end; a brick chimney sits on a stone base. The two-storey, five-bay front has two doorways, one within a 20th-century glazed porch; there are three sash windows on each floor, all with glazing bars in stone surrounds. A weathered datestone is visible above the left-hand door.
