Description
The Angel Inn is an inn dating from the early 17th century, with later additions. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features a graduated stone-flagged roof, which has a central 18th-century dormer and a brick chimney at the east end. The building has a two-storey, three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a panelled door set in a chamfered surround with a bracketed cornice above. To the left, there is a full-height canted bay window covered by a Welsh slate roof, and to the right, there is a single window on each floor; these windows are sashes, most of which have glazing bars. The dormer contains two small casement windows with a central wooden mullion, all set within a corniced surround, topped with a finial and a semi-circular top.
