Description
Tearnside Cottage and the attached barn, dating from the early 19th century, are two-storey structures built in a line. They are constructed from rubble with a slate roof. The cottage features two chimneys and has two windows with plain stone surrounds, both of which are sashed. The doorway is adorned with a simple Doric porch supported by two columns and topped with a cornice, leading to a six-panel door. At the rear of the cottage, there is a staircase window with glazing bars. The barn includes sashed windows with vertical glazing bars and is topped with a stone ball finial on the gable.
