Description

Biggins Lodge farmhouse with a barn attached to the rear was built in the early 19th century. It is a two-storey structure at the front, with a three-storey section behind. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble and has a slate roof, with five chimneys. The front elevation features three windows with sills and plain reveals, each containing sash windows with Gothic-style glazing bars. A similar fanlight is above a six-panel door located at the right-hand gable end. The rear block has three windows with modern casements. A barn is situated behind the farmhouse, largely concealed from view by a castellated wall. A moulded timber lintel sits above the barn's entrance.
