Description

Wood End farmhouse dates to the 18th century with later alterations and additions. It is a two-storey building constructed of rubble, recently pebble-dashed. The roof is slate, with two chimneys. There are three windows, each with chamfered surrounds; all but the centre first-floor window have crude labels. The window on the first floor to the right retains a single mullion, chamfered to an edge. The ground-floor window to the left formerly had a similar mullion, but it has been removed recently. Sashes are present only on the first floor. A gabled, slate-roofed porch with a moulded reveal is located in front of the central doorway. A later 19th-century addition is visible to the left-hand side.
