Description

27 Market Street is a shop that has been converted into a house, likely dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. On the ground floor, there is a window with a triple sash that includes horns, set within a former shop facade that is adorned with flat pilasters and an entablature. To the left of this window, there is an entrance with an overlight and a half-glazed door. The first floor contains sashed windows with horns. A gable-end stack is present, and at the rear, there is a long wing that also features sashed windows.
