Description

Home Farmhouse and former stables date from the early 18th century. The building features mixed sandstone and cobble rubble walls beneath a graduated greenslate roof with stone chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and consists of five bays, with the right side being the former stables that share a common roof with the house. The farmhouse has a central panelled door set in a stone architrave, topped by a broken segmental pediment. There are double sash windows with glazing bars in stone surrounds, along with an oval window above the entrance. The stables are now an integral part of the house and include sash windows, one of which is double, with some featuring glazing bars. There have been alterations and extensions to the rear of the building in the 19th century.
