Description
This is a dovecote located north of Hutton-in-the-Forest Hall, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features coursed sandstone rubble walls topped with a greenslate roof, which has a rebuilt wooden lantern. The dovecote is octagonal in shape and includes a door and a small opening, both set in chamfered stone surrounds. Inside, it retains its original boulins and potence. This dovecote is similar in design to those found at Wreay Hall and Barrock Park.
