Description

The garden wall and gateway east of Hutton-in-the-Forest Hall dates from the late 17th century and is constructed of pink sandstone ashlar. It features square rusticated piers topped with cherub finials. The low walls on either side have regularly spaced pilasters that extend above the coping. The gates are wooden and have a railed design, added in the 20th century. This structure is recognized for its group value with Hutton-in-the-Forest Hall.
