Description
Moorhouse Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse featuring painted roughcast walls with V-jointed red sandstone quoins and an eaves cornice. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has coped gables and kneelers, along with banded red sandstone chimney stacks that are partly cement rendered. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central entrance has a panelled door set in an alternate-block surround with a keyed lintel and is topped by a pediment. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are framed by red sandstone surrounds, with the ground floor windows featuring false keys. The left return wall displays red sandstone surrounds for the attic windows.
